Rough construction

The rough construction means the building of the load-bearing structure of the building – its frame. The process includes foundation (formwork, rebar and pouring of the foundations), the construction of the walls above the ground, slabs, reinforced concrete floors and load bearing walls (anti-earthquake washers), columns, beams, brickwork, stairs, staircase landings, chimneys, shafts, lift shafts, etc. (including formwork, rebar and pouring of concrete for each of the enumerated elements) and roofing.

The execution of the rough construction of the building starts after the finishing of the excavation works and all work related to the beginning of the construction itself – reinforcement of the pit and the surrounding terrain, drainage, fencing and safe-proofing of the construction site, building the temporary buildings necessary for the building process – storehouses, buildings for the workers, lavatories and sanitary accommodation, construction of a temporary water main, a sewage system, power supply and road to the site.
